Backtrack

2010 started out busy. Before I catch up on this year, let me backtrack and finish up with last year.

Tori and I created a new Christmas tradition this year - Gingerbread! We had a lot of fun with this. Tori was a great helper. She especially loved wearing her favorite apron, mixing anything in the bowl, and playing with the Gingerbread Man cookie cutter. She didn't like to use the cookie cutter on the dough, but the cookie cutter did have a great time playing with Tori's other dolls in her room. In fact, after only cutting out a few Gingerbread men, Tori took off with the cookie cutter, and I didn't find it for days. Therefore, we started our new Gingerbread tradition by making Gingerbread Stars.

Making cookies was exhausting, and Tori finally had to take a nap. But, no Gingerbread-making nap would be complete without wearing a Santa hat.

SOunds like you had a great christmas holiday season. Those cookies looked really great. I was thinking of doing that with Keylee, but ones that she could hang on her christmas tree. Maybe next year. You'll have to come help us however.
