Birthday Parties

Tori had a great 3rd birthday! On the Saturday before her birthday, she and Daddy got to share a birthday party. Daddy got to barbeque, and we got to enjoy our friends and family. And of course, we enjoyed cake!

My first idea for Tori's party cake were these mini bug cakes. I thought they were cute. But, then Tori decided she wanted a watermelon cake (because dad got a strawberry cake).

So, I made watermelon slice cake. It looked terrible, but at least she was happy!

Tori's NEXT party was on her birthday. We waited all day for Daddy to get home so we could have our party. Daddy even got off work early, but without a nap, Tori slept right through what should have been her party.

And presents! Yep, that's Tori sound asleep on the couch!

Tori eventually did wake up, and we had a fun party eating pizza and ice cream, and opening presents.

All of Tori's grandparents (except Grandma and Grandpa Lugo) were able to watch Tori open their present to her either in person, or on Skype. By the time Tori woke up to open presents, Grandma and Grandpa were already in bed. So, here's a video for you:
