Graduation

Tim graduated with his Master's Degree in Information Systems Management yesterday. We are so proud of him! And, as is usually the case, Tori was the real star of the show. She looked so cute in her graduation cap (thanks Maisey and Emily!).

Grandma and Grandpa Lugo with Tori. Tori had so much fun with them. The second day of sitting in the Marriott Center was much more bearable for Tori with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Julia, Uncle David and Stella there. Thanks for sharing the day with us. We love you all.

April Snow

No, it's not January - though it would be hard to tell that by these pictures taken 2 weeks ago. We went to bed with no snow, and woke up a couple hours later to this winter wonderland. Tim was so amazed he went outside to snap these photos.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!!

We colored Easter eggs yesterday. Tori loved it, and loved having a fun and practical way to learn the colors. Her newest word is now, "yellow".


Tori got to wear a new dress that her Aunt Beate in Germany gave us for Tori's baby shower. Tori's Easter present is the sweater she is wearing. Mommy finished it just in time for Easter!

It's so much fun to have Tori become aware of the things around her. We didn't think she'd understand an Easter egg hunt, but she loved it, as this video shows:

My Little Missionary

I wish I had a picture to go along with this, but hopefully my description will be good enough.

A little while ago, Tori was playing in her room, and then got abnormally quiet. As all mothers know, this is not necessarily a good thing. So, I peeked around the corner to see what Tori was doing. She was sitting next to her doll bed, where Tori-Two and Pumukel were sitting. In her hand, she was holding a picture of Jesus that she received yesterday for Family Home Evening. She was showing the picture to both of her dolls in turn, holding the picture up to their faces, and saying "Jesus".

I almost cried.

My little girl is already a missionary.

Colton and Tori

Tori's cousin, Colton, came to stay with us for a week, and we all had so much fun! Tori loves Colton so much, and still talks about him whenever she sees something that reminds her of his time here. We love you, Colton! Thanks for staying with us!!
