Zoo

Tim and I took Tori and her friend Stella to the zoo a few weeks ago. The girls had fun looking at the animals (all of which they've seen before), and riding the carousel. There were other rides, too, but Tori was just barely under the 3 feet required to ride. So, we all rode the carousel a few times.

Sleeping Beauty

Tori loves Sleeping Beauty (and all the Princesses). She's also a little actress. She dresses up, lays down, pretends to sleep, and calls to whomever happens to be around,

"I'm sleeping! Come kiss me and wake me up!"

When she gets a kiss on her cheek, she opens her eyes slowly, blinks a couple times, and smiles sweetly... just like Sleeping Beauty!

For my Daddy

Dear Daddy,

Mommy made me take a bath because I drew all over myself with pen. I know you always say I can only draw on paper, but I didn't think you really meant it. Besides, you never actually said I couldn't draw on my skin. It was a pretty picture. I'm sorry you can't see it.

While I was in the bath, I decided it would be okay to try to pour water over my head. You know how scared I am of water being poured over my head. It wasn't so bad when I tried it by myself though. I wanted to show you, so Mommy got the camera. But, then I got scared again. Sorry, Dad.

Here's a video for you, anyway. I miss you, Daddy. I'm excited to play with you when you come home this weekend.
